The Timbers of Cass County, a new 108-bed Medicare and Medicaid-certified and 24-hour skilled nursing center, offers large private and companion rooms. Opening in the Summer of 2010, pre-opening reservations are now being accepted by calling (269) 782-6262.
Located within the city limits off Prairie Ronde Street, the new facility also provides rehabilitation services, recreation and activities, meal planning, resident and family counseling, vacation and respite stays and Hospice care. Amenities include complimentary personal care items, daily housekeeping service, personal laundrey service, beauty salon and barber shop, telephone service and a landscaped courtyard.
Trained and qualified team members manage the senior community and provide daily services, activities, programs and meals for the residents.
Short-term rehabilitation services are also available for residents who need skilled nursing care on a temporary basis. These individuals will be treated for neurological, orthopedic, cardiac, respiratory or general debilities associated with recent surgery or illness.
The skilled nursing center was designed with security, independence and assistance in mind. Staff members specialize in designing individualized, resident centered programs that enable residents to live more healthful, active and comfortable lives.
